Privacy Policy
Effective September 17, 2026. Last updated September 17, 2026.
This policy explains what Zellerhaus, LLC (“Audience Partner,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use audiencepartner.com (the “Site”) or apply to the program, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed.
1. What we collect
If you only browse. The audience math calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter into it is sent to us. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to operate and secure the Site.
If you apply. We collect what you type into the application: your name, email, platform and handle or list URL, audience reach and whether it's owned or borrowed, engagement figures, past launch details and refund rate, the audience requests you paste, whether you'll be the public face, your availability, why now, and your answers to two questions about working with others. We also record the time of submission, your browser's user-agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address for abuse prevention. We don't store your raw IP with your application.
If you're accepted. We may ask for screenshots of audience requests and platform dashboards to verify reach, and we collect scheduling details when you book an interview.
2. How we use it
- To evaluate and score your application against the criteria described on the Site.
- To verify audience claims. We check the platform or list you name against publicly available data, and we may use third-party business-data services (currently Apollo.io) to confirm your identity, company, and role. These services return professional contact and company information; they don't tell us your audience size.
- To reply to you, including a decline that tells you what would change the answer, and to invite you to reapply.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We don't sell your information. We don't use application content for advertising. We don't add you to a marketing list because you applied.
3. Who sees it
- Us. Preston Zeller and anyone at Zellerhaus who reviews applications.
- Service providers, acting for us. Supabase (application storage and database hosting), our web host, our transactional email provider, Apollo.io (identity and company verification), and a scheduling provider if you're invited to interview. Each is bound to use your data only to provide its service.
- Legal. If required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor. If Zellerhaus is acquired or merges, application data may transfer to the successor under this policy.
4. How long we keep it
Declined and withdrawn applications are kept for 24 months so we can honor reapplications and recognize the number that would have changed the answer, then deleted. Accepted applications are kept for the life of the partnership and seven years after, for contract and tax purposes. Server logs are kept for 90 days. You can ask us to delete your application sooner (see section 7).
5. Cookies and analytics
The Site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics, we'll say so here and it won't use cross-site identifiers. We don't run third-party ad pixels.
6. Security
Application data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled so it's readable only by our server, not by browsers. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No method is perfect; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we'll notify you as the law requires.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@audiencepartner.com. We'll respond within 30 days and may need to verify it's you.
- If you're in the EU, UK, or a U.S. state with a privacy law such as California, you have the rights those laws provide, including access, correction, deletion, and portability. We don't sell or “share” personal information as those laws define it, so there's nothing to opt out of.
- We don't discriminate against you for exercising any right.
8. International transfers
We're based in the United States and our providers store data in the U.S. If you apply from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the U.S.
9. Children
The Site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date changes when we do. Material changes will be flagged on this page, and if we have your email from an application we'll tell you directly.
